I HAVE COME TO DRAW!

I HAVE COME TO DRAW

Scripture: Psalm 18:16–19 | John 6:44
By Pst. JK Woodall

John 6:44 (KJV)

“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Church, the message is I HAVE COME TO DRAW!

The drawing is not about how strong you are. It is about the One who is doing the drawing!

Moses was a baby when he was drawn out of the water. He did not know what was happening. He could not save himself. He could not recognize the danger surrounding his life. Yet his inability to understand the drawing did not stop the drawing from taking place!

And I came to tell somebody today: You do not have to understand everything God is doing before you respond to Him!

Some of you have been trying to pull yourself out of situations that you cannot overcome by your own strength. You have tried to fix yourself, strengthen yourself, and deliver yourself. But the question is not whether you can pull yourself out. The question is whether you will respond to the One who is drawing you!

Jesus said, “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him.”

The Father draws us to the Son!

He is not merely calling you to change your circumstances. He is calling you to come to Christ. He is calling you out of sin and into salvation, out of spiritual death and into life, out of self-reliance and into the grace that only Jesus can give.

You cannot save yourself, but you can respond to the Savior!

And hear me: the drawing has a destination. Jesus said, “And I will raise him up at the last day!”

The Father draws, the Son receives, and Jesus promises resurrection!

The Invitation: Respond to the Drawing

If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, this invitation is for you.

If you have walked away from God and need to return, this invitation is for you.

If you have been trying to carry the weight of your life without surrendering to Christ, this invitation is for you.

You do not have to pretend that you have everything together. You do not have to earn your way into His presence. Come to Jesus in repentance and faith. Turn from sin and trust Him as your Savior and Lord.

The question is not whether you can rescue yourself. The question is: Will you come to Jesus?

If you are ready to surrender your life to Christ, I invite you to come forward now. If you are watching online, respond to God right where you are.

Prayer of Surrender

Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I cannot save myself. I confess my sins and turn to You. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again. Forgive me, cleanse me, and make me new. I surrender my life to You. Teach me to follow You, trust Your Word, and walk in Your ways. I place my faith in You as my Savior and Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Final Declaration

Church, Moses was drawn out of the water. David declared that God drew him out of many waters. And Jesus declared that no one can come to Him unless the Father draws that person.

The drawing is God's initiative. Our response is to come to Christ in faith.

Do not harden your heart. Do not rely on your own strength. Do not mistake your inability to save yourself for an inability to be saved.

I HAVE COME TO DRAW!

The Father is drawing us to the Son. Jesus is the destination. Salvation is found in Him.

You do not have to save yourself. You need to surrender to the Savior.

Come to Jesus!
