WELCOME TO YOUR NEW MONTH OF NOVEMBER!

THE 11TH MONTH: PRESERVED TO PRESERVE!

By PST JK Woodall

Joseph was the eleventh son of Jacob. His life would become one of the most remarkable examples of God's ability to turn adversity into preservation.

His brothers rejected him, sold him into slavery, and thought they had removed him from their lives. But what they intended for evil, God used for good.

Joseph eventually found himself in Egypt, elevated to a position of authority, where he would preserve not only his family but many others during a devastating famine.

Joseph declared:

"But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive."
— Genesis 50:20

Now, consider this as we enter November, the eleventh month.

In biblical numerology, eleven is traditionally associated with incompleteness, disorder, and transition. It is one beyond ten and one short of twelve, often associated with governmental order.

Yet Joseph's story gives us another powerful biblical connection to consider: PRESERVATION!

Saints, perhaps you have experienced some things over these past ten months that you never anticipated. Some things may have looked like rejection, some like setbacks, and others like the end of a chapter.

But Joseph's life reminds us that the circumstances surrounding you do not have to determine the purpose working through you.

You are not simply asking God to preserve your life. Consider that He may also use your life to preserve someone else's.

Your survival has purpose. Your testimony has purpose. Your experiences have purpose.

Welcome to November!

May this month remind you that God is able to preserve you through what was intended to destroy you, and position you to become a blessing to others.
