Addressing Root Causes

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the name of our Lord and Savior! I pray that this letter finds you in good health and strong faith. Today, I want to share with you a powerful passage from the Gospel of Luke that reminds us of the transformative power of our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ.

In Luke 5:17-26, we witness an extraordinary event—the healing of a paralyzed man. But what is truly remarkable about this story is not just the physical healing but how Jesus addressed the root causes of the man's condition. It is a testament to Jesus' deep love, compassion, and desire to bring complete restoration to our lives.

Just as the paralyzed man had friends who brought him before Jesus, I encourage each one of you to bring your friends, family, and loved ones to Jesus. Our Lord is not merely interested in superficial solutions to our problems; He desires to address the core issues that affect our lives.

Jesus knew that sin is the root cause of our brokenness, and His ultimate mission was to offer forgiveness and reconciliation. When Jesus declared to the paralyzed man, "Friend, your sins are forgiven you," He revealed His divine authority to heal not only physical ailments but also the spiritual wounds within us.

Therefore, let us follow the example of the paralyzed man's friends and demonstrate unwavering faith. Let us intercede on behalf of our loved ones and bring them to Jesus, knowing that He has the power to address the root causes of their struggles. He can offer forgiveness, redemption, and complete healing.

Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that Jesus sees beyond the surface and desires to bring restoration to every area of our lives. He invites us to lay our burdens before Him and trust in His transformative power. Let us approach Him with confidence, knowing that He is faithful to respond with love and compassion.

In conclusion, I invite you all to bring your friends, family, and loved ones to Jesus. Let us be vessels of His grace and love, extending a helping hand to those in need. Together, we can share the good news of Jesus' healing power, addressing the root causes in people's lives and leading them to true transformation.

May the Holy Spirit guide and empower us as we embark on this mission of bringing others to Jesus. May His love flow through us, touching the lives of those around us, and may the name of Jesus be glorified through our testimonies.

2023 Mother’s Day Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

On this special day dedicated to honoring mothers, we come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up all mothers at Revival Center Hesperia and around the World. We thank You for the incredible gift of motherhood and for the selfless love and devotion that mothers embody.

Today, we pray for every mother, regardless of their circumstances or experiences. We ask for Your abundant blessings to be poured out upon them.

For the mothers who are celebrating their first Mother's Day, fill their hearts with joy and wonder as they embrace the precious gift of their newborn child. Grant them wisdom and strength as they embark on this beautiful journey of motherhood.

For the mothers who have been at this noble calling for many years, we ask for renewed energy and patience. May You sustain them as they tirelessly pour out their love, care, and guidance to their children. Give them moments of rest and refreshment so that they may continue to be a source of strength for their families.

For the mothers who are facing challenges, grant them resilience and courage. Be their comfort in times of trial and their beacon of hope when they feel weary. Surround them with a supportive community that uplifts and encourages them.

For the mothers who have experienced loss or are separated from their children, we pray for Your healing touch upon their hearts. Grant them peace and comfort in their grief, and remind them that their love and influence endure.

For the single mothers, strengthen and sustain them in their unique role. Provide them with the resources, support, and love they need to navigate the complexities of parenthood on their own. Surround them with caring individuals who can be a source of encouragement and help.

For the mothers who have adopted or fostered children, we thank You for their selflessness and love. Bless them with patience, understanding, and unwavering commitment as they provide a safe and nurturing environment for these precious lives.

For the mothers who are far from their children, whether due to distance, military service, or other circumstances, we ask for Your peace to fill their hearts. Grant them a sense of connection and the assurance that their love knows no bounds.

For the mothers who are unable to be with their children due to illness or other challenges, we pray for Your healing touch and comfort. Surround them with a loving community that can provide support and care during this difficult time.

Heavenly Father, we honor and celebrate all mothers today. We acknowledge the sacrifices they make, the love they pour out, and the profound impact they have on the lives of their children and families.

May You bless every mother with Your wisdom, grace, and strength. Equip them to navigate the joys and challenges of motherhood with unwavering faith. Surround them with Your love and protection.

In Your precious name, we pray.

Amen.

From All the Families at Revival Center Hesperia, Have a Blessed Mother’s Day!

God Bless ALL the Mother’s everywhere.

Casting Off Our Crowns: Embracing the Grace of the Cross

"The True Meaning of Humility in Our Walk with Christ"

Dear Friends,

As believers, we are called to live our lives in humble service to God, recognizing that everything we have and are comes from Him. In the Bible, the act of casting off our crowns is a powerful symbol of this kind of humility and submission to God.

Revelation 4:10-11 describes the scene in heaven, where the twenty-four elders cast their crowns before the throne of God and worship Him, saying, "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power." This act of casting off their crowns represents their recognition that all honor and glory belong to God alone, and that they are unworthy of such honor apart from His grace.

In Philippians 2:5-8, Paul exhorts believers to have the same attitude as Christ, who "made Himself nothing" and "humbled Himself" by becoming a servant and dying on the cross. This is a call to humility and selflessness, even if it means sacrificing our own ambitions or desires for the sake of others.

When we cast off our crowns and embrace the grace of the cross, we are freed from the burden of self-promotion and status-seeking. Instead, we are able to focus on serving God and others, as Christ did. We are reminded that our true worth and value come from our relationship with Him, rather than from any earthly honors or achievements.

Invocation:  So let us cast off our crowns and embrace the grace of the cross. Let us remain humble and serve others, as Christ did. And let us always remember that His crown is above all, and that in serving Him, we will find true fulfillment and joy.

Grace Upon Grace - Welcome to the New Month of May 2023

Title: Grace Upon Grace - Welcome to the New Month of May 2023

Welcome to the month of May 2023, a new month filled with opportunities, blessings, and divine favor. As we enter into this new month, we are reminded of the words of John 1:16, which says, "From his fullness, we have all received grace upon grace."

This verse reminds us that as children of God, we have access to an unlimited supply of grace, and we can expect to receive it in abundance throughout this new month. So, let us be excited and expectant as we journey through this new month.

May is a month that is filled with new beginnings and fresh starts. The trees are in full bloom, and the weather is warming up, making it the perfect time to renew our minds and focus on our goals. Let us take this opportunity to reflect on our past experiences and learn from them, while also setting new goals and striving towards them.

As we move through this month, let us remember that God's grace is sufficient for us. No matter what challenges we may face, we can trust that God's grace will see us through. Let us also extend this grace to those around us, showing love and kindness to everyone we meet.

In conclusion, let us enter into this new month with a heart full of gratitude and a spirit of expectation. May we receive grace upon grace, and may we experience the fullness of God's blessings in our lives.
