Which voice is yours? 🔥

We often read Luke 23:32-43 (KJV) and wonder, What did the thieves steal? But the real question is deeper: What has been stolen from us? 🤔

In Genesis 3:6-7 (KJV), Adam and Eve reached for what wasn’t theirs—they stole knowledge at the cost of life 🌳🍎. Their disobedience severed humanity from God, closing the gates to Eden and the Tree of Life 🌈🌿 (Genesis 3:22-24, KJV).

At Calvary, two thieves hang beside Jesus ✝️. One mocks Him (Luke 23:39, KJV), still blind to truth 👀❌. But the other sees clearly:
“We receive the due reward of our deeds... Lord, remember me.” (Luke 23:41-42, KJV) 🙏🏽
In that moment, Jesus restores what was lost in Eden:
“Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23:43, KJV) 🕊️🌅

Jesus, called the “last Adam” in 1 Corinthians 15:45 (KJV), came not just to forgive—but to restore what sin had stolen: our identity 🧬, our access 🔓, our eternity 🕰️.

So now…

Are you clinging to what sin has stolen—shame 😔, pride 😤, blame 🧱?
Or are you ready to surrender, like the repentant thief, and reclaim what Jesus offers: Paradise? 🌄👑

What was stolen in the Garden was restored on the Cross.
The first Adam took and lost.
The second Adam gave and redeemed 🙌🏽.

Today, you’re beside Jesus.
One thief stayed silent in pride.
One spoke in faith.

He Is Risen!

The tomb is empty! Death is defeated! Jesus is alive!

“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
—Matthew 28:6 (NKJV)

On Resurrection Sunday, heaven declared victory. The grave lost its grip. Every promise of God was fulfilled in Christ’s triumph.

Because He lives, we have hope, freedom, and everlasting life.
“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.”
—John 11:25 (NKJV)

Celebrate today! Let resurrection power revive your spirit. What was dead is alive again!

Prayer:
Risen Savior, thank You for the cross and thank You for the empty tomb. I rejoice in Your victory. Let resurrection life fill my heart and guide my steps. Amen.

• Definition: “Sustained wind” refers to a continuous, steady wind—not a gust, but a guiding force.

• Biblical terms:

  • Ruach (Hebrew) – Breath, Wind, Spirit

  • Pneuma (Greek) – Spirit, Wind, Breath

• Key Scripture: John 3:8 – "The wind blows where it wishes..."

• A wind from the Lord brought quail to feed the people.

• Provision came through sustained obedience and waiting.

• God uses His Spirit to sustain us when we feel empty.

• The four winds brought breath to dry bones.

• Sustained winds represent a full revival—body, mind, and spirit.

The Table, the Towel, and the Testimony

On Maundy Thursday, Jesus gathered with His disciples for the Last Supper. It was more than a meal—it was a moment of love, service, and sacrifice.
“This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
—Luke 22:19 (NKJV)

Jesus not only broke bread; He also knelt down and washed their feet—choosing humility even with betrayal looming.
“If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.”
—John 13:14 (NKJV)

Maundy means “commandment,” and on this holy night, Jesus gave a new one:
“Love one another; as I have loved you.”
—John 13:34 (NKJV)

As we reflect today, we ask:
Am I willing to serve like Jesus?
Do I come to the table with a grateful heart?
Will I love others the way He first loved me?

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for the table of grace and the towel of humility. Teach me to love deeply, serve humbly, and remember Your sacrifice daily. Amen.

📚 Study Theme:

In this passage, we explore the instructions surrounding the guilt offering, peace offering, and the portions set apart for the priests. These sacrifices reveal not just the meticulous nature of holiness but also God's deep desire for restored fellowship with His people through obedience, reverence, and honor of sacred space and sacred acts.

🧾 Outline & Notes:

1. Verses 1–10: The Guilt Offering (Asham)

This offering was for intentional wrongdoing related to sacred things (Lev. 5–6).

It required restitution plus a 20% penalty (a fifth part).

🔍 Key Insight: God not only expects confession, but also compensation. True repentance leads to restoration.

🕊️ Spiritual Application: When we violate holy things—time, tithe, ministry—God requires us to acknowledge it and make it right.

> “It is most holy” (v.1) — God's justice doesn’t just forgive; it also corrects.

2. Verses 11–15: The Peace Offering (Zebach Shelamim) – With Thanksgiving

Voluntary offering expressing gratitude.

Included unleavened cakes and cakes of leavened bread.

Must be eaten the same day—symbolizing immediacy of gratitude.

🕊️ Spiritual Reflection: Do we delay our thanksgiving? God invites us to rejoice immediately in His goodness.

> “He shall offer… with the sacrifice of thanksgiving” (v.12) — Praise is an offering that opens doors to peace.

3. Verses 16–18: Vow or Freewill Offering

A deeper level of commitment than a thank offering.

Can be eaten over two days, but not the third day—symbolizing purity of intent and freshness of relationship.

⚠️ Leftovers on the third day become “abominable” — stale worship is rejected.

✝️ Modern Takeaway: Don’t offer God expired worship. Our sacrifice must be fresh, intentional, and from the heart.

4. Verses 19–21: Sacred Cleanliness & Community Consequences

Touching anything unclean disqualified the offerer.

Eating of sacred offerings in an unclean state brings cutting off—excommunication from God's people.

👀 Sobering Reminder: Fellowship is a holy privilege, not a casual activity. Clean hands and a pure heart are prerequisites for divine communion.

> “That person shall be cut off from his people” (v.20) — Community integrity begins with personal consecration.

🔥 Closing Reflection: Leviticus 7 shows us that worship isn't only vertical—it’s horizontal. The offerings don’t just restore our relationship with God; they maintain harmony with each other. The text teaches that access to God comes with responsibility. Holiness is not optional—it is the foundation for fellowship.
