Theme: Cleansing for the New Year / Making Room for the Lord

Scripture Focus:
📖 Psalm 51:10 (KJV) – “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
📖 1 John 1:9 (NKJV) – “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

PRAYER

Father God,
As we begin this fast, we consecrate ourselves to You. Cleanse our hearts, minds, and spirits from anything that blocks Your presence. Remove every distraction, every burden, and every weight from 2025 that would hinder us from fully entering into the blessings of the new year.

Lord, make room in our lives for Your Spirit to dwell richly. Search us, purify us, and prepare us to receive all that You have ordained for us in 2026. Let every corner of our hearts be cleared for Your presence and Your plans.

 What Holds Jesus to the Post or the Cross?

When we read the story of Jesus’ suffering, it is easy to imagine that the ropes, the post, or the nails held Him in place. Roman soldiers tied victims to a scourging beam and nailed them to a cross, but Scripture makes it clear: nothing and no one held Jesus except His own willingness.

Jesus Himself declares, “No one takes my life from me, but I lay it down of my own accord” (John 10:18, NIV). The flogging, the wooden post, and the crucifixion were real, yet they did not overpower Him. He allowed them.

Even at His arrest, Jesus reminds Peter of His divine authority:

“Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and He will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?” (Matthew 26:53, NIV).

In other words, He was never helpless. Heaven stood ready.

The nails did not restrain the Creator. Instead, love did.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8, NIV).

Jesus remained because His mission required it.

Prophecy also held Him. Isaiah foretold, “He was pierced for our transgressions… and by his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5, NIV). Jesus submitted to fulfill Scripture and rescue humanity.

On the Cross, Jesus did not lose power—He exercised it.

“Father, into your hands I commit my spirit” (Luke 23:46, NKJV).

Even His final breath was released by His choice.

So what held Jesus to the post or the Cross?

Not nails. Not soldiers. Not wood.

Love, obedience, and the eternal plan of salvation held Him there.

And because He willingly stayed, we are eternally free.

Church Hurt?

 Church Hurt? Time for Urgent Care

Jesus was clear about the purpose of His church: “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick” (Mark 2:17, NKJV). The church was never meant to be a showroom for the perfect, but an urgent care for the wounded.

When someone is physically injured, we don’t shame them for seeking help—we rush them to treatment. Yet when people are spiritually injured, especially by church hurt, they are often told to “pray it away” or “just forgive,” while the wound remains open. That is not healing.

Scripture reminds us that “a bruised reed He will not break” (Isaiah 42:3, NKJV). Jesus does not dismiss pain; He treats it. He binds wounds, restores dignity, and creates space for recovery (Psalm 147:3, NKJV).

If you are hurt, you are not weak—you are wounded. And wounds require care. Healing may involve stepping into a safer space, honest conversations, and time with the Great Physician.

The church is for the sick—but it must be a place where healing is truly safe 🙏 🙌

Lord, I lift up every family connected to this prayer. Cover our homes, our children, and our loved ones under the power of the blood of Jesus. Your promise says, “He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways” (Psalm 91:11, KJV). Let Your divine protection surround us like a shield.

Father, bless the weeks ahead. Order our steps, open the right doors, close the wrong ones, and release divine favor over our assignments, workplaces, decisions, and relationships. According to Proverbs 10:22 (NKJV), “The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” Let Your blessing flow without burden or struggle.

Lord, for anyone needing healing today—physically, emotionally, or spiritually—I declare Your Word in Isaiah 53:5 (ESV): “By His wounds we are healed.” Let Your healing virtue touch every part of their body and restore strength, wholeness, and peace.

Father, as we continue in this month of divine authority and order, establish Your plans in our lives. Surround us with Your presence and let Your glory be revealed in everything we do.

We decree: My family is protected, my path is blessed, and my body is healed in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER FOR DECEMBER 5, 2025

Father, thank You that You are the same God—yesterday, today, and forever (Heb. 13:8). Your power hasn’t changed, Your promises still stand, and Your mercy is new today. Move in us, guide us, and show Your glory in every situation.

Declaration:

The unchanging God is working in my life—and if He did it for me, He can do it for you.

Amen!

Grace and peace to you in the mighty name of Jesus!

As we step into December, the 12th month, the Lord reminds us that twelve is the number of authority, divine order, and governmental establishment. This month, God is aligning your steps, restoring kingdom structure to your life, and releasing fresh spiritual authority for the season ahead.

In Scripture, 12 is never accidental:

• There were 12 tribes of Israel, representing God’s governmental people (Genesis 49, KJV).

• Jesus chose 12 apostles to establish the foundation of His Church (Matthew 10:1–2, NKJV).

• Heaven itself displays divine order with 12 gates, 12 angels, and 12 foundations (Revelation 21:12–14, ESV).

This month, expect order where there has been confusion, authority where there has been resistance, and structure where things have felt scattered. The Lord is declaring over you:

“Behold, I give you authority… over all the power of the enemy.”
— Luke 10:19, NKJV

December becomes your month to stand in the authority of Christ and bring every area of your life into divine alignment.

And as the year closes, remember this promise:

“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me.”
— Psalm 138:8, KJV

May the God of order, strength, and divine establishment crown your year with His goodness (Psalm 65:11, NKJV). Step boldly into December knowing that heaven backs you, Jesus leads you, and the Holy Spirit empowers you.
